范国昌博士是原扬州教育学院生物系毕业生。先后为中国科学院武汉病毒研究所硕士、浙江大学生物医学工程专业博士、北京军事医学科学院博士后、美国辛辛那提大学医学院博士后，现为美国辛辛那提大学医学院药理学系副教授（终身教授）。范教授实验室主要从事非编码RNA、外泌体、应激蛋白在疾病中的作用机制研究。自从2000年以来，范国昌博士已发表71 篇论文，总影响因子接近500，文章被引用近4000次。并担任Current Angiogenesis 主编Shock, American journal of Cardiovascular disease 等学术期刊的编委。

<br>Guo-Chang Fan received his PhD in Molecular Biology from Zhejiang University. He joined the University of Cincinnati in 2000. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Systems Physiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His research focuses on elucidating the molecular/cellular mechanisms underlying sepsis-, diabetes-, and infarction-induced cardiovascular injury and exploring the potential therapeutic applications for these diseases. Fan has been continually funded by the NIH and the American Heart Association (AHA) since 2007. He has authored over 90 publications and has served on multiple NIH study sections and Editorial Boards. In 2016, Fan received an Established Investigator Award from AHA.
