Zhi Yang

<br>Zhi Yang received a B.S. degree from Zhejiang University in 2004, and an M.S. degree and a Ph.D. degree from University of California at Santa Cruz in 2007 and 2010. Since 2010, he has been with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at National University Singapore. He is the principal investigator at the Translational System and Signal Processing Group (https://www.ece.nus.edu.sg/stfpage/eleyangz/index.html), working on high performance medical electronics, real-time signal processing, and system design and optimization for clinical and healthcare applications.
<br>He has co-authored about 50 publications on bioelectronics and signal processing, and edited one book titled Neural Computation, Neural Device, and Neural Prosthesis with Springer New York. Dr. Yang received an Honorable Mention Award at ACCV 2009, R&D-100 Award 2009, Singapore Young Investigator Award 2012, and Winner of regional MIT TR35 2014.
