李宏东，2000年毕业于浙江大学信电系，取得博士学位。澳大利亚国立大学（ANU）终身教授，曾任ANU的工程科学学院的科研副院长，也是原澳大利亚国家机器人视觉研究中心的首席研究员Chief Investigator。
李宏东是国际著名的三维计算机视觉和机器学习的专家，承担或参与过澳大利亚人工眼项目， 虚拟城市三维重建，机器人导航和自主驾驶，混合现实和增强现实等项目。他多次获国际顶级研究论文奖， 包括 IEEE-CVPR 最佳论文奖，和ICCV马尔奖的荣誉提名奖。他常年任CVPR， ICCV和ECCV的领域主席， 并任 ICRA2022高级编辑， CVPR-2023和NeurlPS-2024的资深领域主席（SAC），也是人工智能顶级杂志 IEEE-TPAMI 的编委。2022-2023 学术休假期间，他作为腾讯杰出科学家和腾讯XR的全球研究实验室的负责人，领导了XR新技术和新产品的研发。

Hongdong Li received the M.Sc. and PhD degrees in information and electronics engineering in 1996 and 2000, respectively, both from Zhejiang University, China. He is currently a Professor with the Computer Vision Group, Australian National University (ANU), Canberra, ACT, Australia. He is also a Chief Investigator with the Australia ARC Centre of Excellence for Robotic Vision (ACRV), Brisbane City QLD, Australia. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the ANU in 2004. His research interests include three-dimensional vision reconstruction, structure from motion, multi-view geometry, as well as applications of optimization methods in computer vision. Prior to 2010, he was with NICTA Canberra Labs working on the Australia Bionic Eyes project.
