Cheng Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Before joining HKU, she was a postdoc research fellow at Harvard Medical School, US. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and her M.S. and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and Zhejiang University, respectively. She has been named one of the Global Top 80 Chinese Young Female Scholars in AI and won the MICCAI Federated Brain Tumor Segmentation Challenge. She also serves as Area Chair of MICCAI 2024 and a reviewer for top-tier journals and conferences.
